The Platypus along with the Echidna is the only mammal to lay eggs. So unlike the Easter bunny who doesn't lay eggs, an Easter Platypus makes sense. The annual Sydney Royal Easter Show was on this year. The Easter Show is located at Sydney Olympic Park which is on Wann-gal land. My reason for visiting was to see the platypus themed artworks located in the Art and Craft section. The art and craft section of the show is always my favourite as features amazing artworks.

Another wonderful platypus artwork was painted by Annabel Green.
Some other cool platypus art was a leather belt which featured other Australian animals including Koala, kangaroo, emu and platypus.
