I visited Aotearoa also known as New Zealand, located about a 3 hour flight time from Sydney Australia. Aotearoa is made up of a North and South Island with Wellington being the capital of New Zealand. This was my third time to New Zealand, I had previously visited the North and South Island, this time I just visited Auckland in the North due to time limitations. Aotearoa is the Māori word for New Zealand and it means land of the long white cloud, due to the country resembling a log white cloud from above. Māoria are the First Nations and traditional owners of New Zealand. The area of Glenn Lynn and Ponsonby that I visited is the home to the Opoutukēha tribe.
